The European Federation of Autonomic Societies (EFAS) is an umbrella society founded in 1997 in London, UK.
EFAS hosts national autonomic societies (NAS), societies not exclusively specialised in autonomic nervous system research and private persons.
The aim is to establish a platform for scientists and clinicians with interests in ANS physiology, disorders and treatment. To promote the interdisciplinary communication a congress is organised by another NAS every year.
In 2023, EFAS joined the Brain Health Mission (BHM), which aims to raise awareness and create opportunity for people to better understand the importance of preserving a healthy brain and nervous system, to diagnose, and to treat neurological and brain disorders from the earliest moment possible.
